At the moment, we're occupying the "Akademisches Auslandsamt" (Foreign student office) for the second time since arriving in Mannheim, and I'm splitting my attention between trying to figure out the fiendish German keyboards to adding sarcastic commentary to the conversation behind me. I'm hungry though, and I need to find an adaptor, as the blasted 220 volt plug claimed my power strip yesterday. (First on my list of grievances against the country. Yet apart from my other experiences, it is expected that this list will be fairly short)

- Suspect is known to wear a lot of khaki and/or burlap, depending on whether it's buffet day in the evil henchfolk cafeteria. Can be recognized by the tendency to talk in various different accents and is always wearing the same hat. Has been reported to have been seen skulking around Germany.

Glad to see you have arrived. Post some comments about the plane and train travel when you get a chance. Sorry about the adapter. You should not have had that problem. I'm sure you'll be able to find a new one.
Hello and glad to see you are there. Hope it gets to b ee going so fast you can enjoy it but not have it drag on. Like to hear about your time there and friends. We are leaving on Monday to go to NC and we will miss you.Love you lots
